this is an effective use of interactive digital media within a website for Adidas
Impossible Story lets users create a totally personalised animation in a matter of
seconds. Anyone can be the star. Simply upload a picture of their head and use the A-Z keys to make your character achieve one unbelievable feat after
another and then share your journey with your friends.
POINTS OF INTEREST:
fast pasted animation,moving in a rightward direction throughout, zooming in and out makeing the backgroung key to the sequence, the robot!

A Commercial for converse. which uses a simple black and white short animation of a 'bug' to attract the audience through the use of humour and effective animation techniques.
POINTS OF INTEREST:
full use of screen, zooming in and out, good focus on the bug, the logo is cleverly brought into the commercial as it is linked into the animation.

i have began to look at how transform can be made appropriate through the means of type for my silent movie brief. i have used and old English type face which is transformed into an Arial type face, this shows the transformation of old to new. i have also looked at a simple form of transformation which is the weight of the letters.

this is a short animation which i found on YouTube. It is a short animation which lasts 37 seconds, this is longer then the animation which i will create. However it uses a wide range of type and a small amount of imagery to bring across a message. the words 'call' and 'HUG' work well (towards the beginning) as they uses movement within the letters of the words, to create an impression of what the words implies

This is the first time that i have worked with digital media. in this module we will be looking at useing software such as After Effects. The first brief we have been given is called SILENT MOVIE. we will be producing a 10 second animated sequence that explores the visual communication of three words, useing only letter form. the words which i will be working with for my animation are: BOOM, TRANSFORM and COLD.
